About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LMUOVRLY ("we", "us" or "the app") handles information when you use the LMUOVRLY website and Windows desktop application. LMUOVRLY provides configurable overlays for Le Mans Ultimate, including optional streaming integrations.
Information we process
The desktop app may process your licence details, locally saved preferences, overlay layouts and data supplied by services you choose to connect. Most application preferences and connected-service credentials remain on your computer. The website may receive ordinary technical information provided by your browser or hosting provider, such as an IP address, browser type and request time, for security and reliable delivery.
Google and YouTube integration
Connecting YouTube is optional. LMUOVRLY uses Google OAuth and requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly. This read-only permission lets the app identify the YouTube channel connected by the user, find an active livestream owned by that channel (including an unlisted livestream), read its live-chat messages and moderation events, and retrieve its available concurrent-viewer information for display in local streaming overlays. LMUOVRLY does not use this permission to create, edit, upload or delete YouTube content.
Google sign-in takes place in your default browser. LMUOVRLY never receives your Google password. The access token is kept in memory while needed; the refresh authorisation is encrypted on your Windows computer using the operating system's secure storage. Google and YouTube data is used only to provide the connected streaming features you select.
LMUOVRLY's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Other connected services
If you connect Twitch or RaceControl, LMUOVRLY processes the account and public profile information needed for the features you enable. Connected-service authorisations are stored locally using Windows secure storage where supported. Each integration can be disconnected from within the app.
How information is used
- To provide, maintain and troubleshoot LMUOVRLY and its overlays.
- To authenticate licences and prevent misuse.
- To provide optional streaming and profile integrations requested by the user.
- To protect the service and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell Google user data or connected-account data. We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions or training general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. We do not share it with third parties except where necessary to provide a user-requested feature, comply with law, protect users or the service, or with the user's explicit consent.
Storage and retention
Overlay settings and connected-account authorisations are stored on the user's computer. They remain there until the user disconnects the integration, resets or uninstalls the app, removes the application's local data, or the provider revokes or expires the authorisation. Licence and purchase records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide access, support purchases, prevent fraud and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information processed. Sensitive connected-service authorisations are encrypted locally using Windows secure storage where available, and passwords are not requested or stored by LMUOVRLY. No system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their Windows account and connected accounts.
Your choices and deletion
You can use LMUOVRLY without connecting YouTube. Select Disconnect YouTube in the app to delete the locally stored YouTube authorisation. You can also revoke access from your Google Account connections. Local application settings can be removed by resetting the app or deleting its local application data. You may contact us for questions about licence or service records associated with you.
Children
LMUOVRLY is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when LMUOVRLY's features or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required.
